X Men Origins question, for X Men comics extreme fans? On the X Men Origins Blu Ray disc, under special features section, their is backstory video called Wolverine Unleashed: The Complete Origins. In it they say their are three metals that have be mixed together to form the Adamantium alloy.Does anyone know what those three metals are? |
| well, it's an alloy of iron (not steel), and since it was on the X-men origins movie, it would have to have properties of the meterorite. I'm pretty sure marvel has yet to name the proper metals. Sorry, I'm not much help, but you might have to refer to the old avengers comics, when it was first introduced, or the wolverine origins comic series |
What are the best non-superhero action/adventure comics out there? Superheroes, or extreme heroes, get boring.
What are the best non-superhero comics out there?
Please list as many as you can. Thanks. |
Living With the Dead was fun. It was a three-issue series about two bros living in a zombie infested city, just living a semi-normal life. They wore masks to disguise themselves when going out.
There's some good zombie-killing action, and it's really funny. Surprisingly good writing, too.
Also there was a short series called User about a twenty-something girl in the early nineties whose life sucks so she becomes obsessed with online medieval role-playing. Most of the action is in the role-playing parts, but it's very well written and realistic, dramatic without being over-the-top.
Both of these comics are for mature readers, though. Sorry that's all I've got. I'm into super heroes myself. |
Does Marvel comics put all comics into Trade Paper Backs? I am just wondering if Marvel puts every comic they print into a trade paper back with its story arc fellas or if they only put in certain things, if the latter, what are the requirements? Is it only ongoing series? Or do 4 issue mini-series often get compiled into one cheaper book? Specifically, Timestorm 2009/2099. $4 an issue is a little extreme. |
| Yes |
Who is the comic book character with extreme luck? i remember watching the old xmen cartoon years ago and at sometime they had travelled into another dimension or another world...something not our own...and there was a character there that his mutant power or just power in general was "extreme luck" and whenever it was being used he would get a twinkle in his eye which i believe had a tatoo over it as well. cant remember who that guy was. |
Thats long shot, he was with the x-men for a little while before going back to his home world the Mojoverse. and luck was his whole thing.
there is also a female x-man named domino, she also has luck powers, where things just seem to fall into place wtih her. but i'm positive long shot is who you are looking for,

What types of heroes are there in comics besides superheroes? When people think of types of heroes, they think:
war heroes, political heroes, athletic heroes, legendary heroes or ordinary heroes.
An ordinary hero is one who becomes a hero by some feat he or she has accomplished that the general public sees as heroic.
Action heroes are heroes that often appear capable of extreme physical acts of daring.
A superhero is a type of stock character possessing "extraordinary or superhuman powers" and dedicated to protecting the public. Extraordinary powers does not mean superpowers. Lots of superheroes aren't superpowered but they have extraordinary powers to make up for lack of superpowers. Superheroes are extreme heroes.
What other types of heroes are there in comics besides superheroes? I want to look up different hero types in comics, but I don't know where to look. Please help me out. |
well I don't read "comics" but I read manga (Japanese graphic novels translated into english)

What do extreme Buffy fans do for there fix of the 'buffyverse' these days? I have re watched and re watched them all. I need something new. I know the comics are coming out .
Are there any shows similar out there? |
| I am still not ready to talk about Buffy ending so I just pretend it is still on Monday nights and watch an episode a week. Gotta love the world of denial!!! Fanfic also helps to ease the pain. Sob Sob Sob!!! |
I'm an EXTREME procrastinator. How can i break my habit? Common knowledge is that school is about to start, and I don't want to fall behind in any classes because i can't control myself.
Extra details i can provide.
I always procrastinate by messing around on the computer, getting food, reading comics, or going to the bathroom.
I have pretty bad self control.
I'll avoid doing big projects by working on other homework, and then procrastinate from doing that. |
OMG! i have the same freakin problem lol
well what can help is to think about the project and think about the consequenses if you dont do it. it helps me most of the time. |

X-men comics? I'm not really sure if this is the right category, but I'm asking anyway. I've been playing x-men legends 1 and 2 and i thought that I knew a lot about the x-men universe, but when I tried the little mini trivia games, I was really at a loss. Is there a site where i can buy the comics from start to most recent, or have they been reprinted in larger volumes? Also, which ones came first (extreme, ultimate . . .)? |
| you av no idea how big xmen is, they been around for 50 yrs. go to marvel.com/ or just chat me. im not a geek by the way, just like x men p.s. ultimate was first |
